Mark C. Ordoyne was born and raised in Thibodaux. He is the President and founder of Ordoyne Funeral Home and one of the longest licensed funeral professionals in the area.

As a second generation funeral director, Mark has spent most of his life in the funeral business. After graduating from Thibodaux High, he received his degree in Mortuary Services at Delgado.

He joined the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department’s Home, Hook and Ladder Company in 1973. He served as Training Director, 1st and 2nd Assistant Chief and board member. He was awarded “Outstanding Member”, “Honorary Chief” and subsequently named as “Chief for Life” for his service in the fire department. He remains a devoted lifetime member and supporter of the department today.

He married Cathy Gaudet, a native of Thibodaux. They have two children, Christopher M. Ordoyne and Victoria Ordoyne Thomas and three grandchildren.

He is a member of the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association.

Marks deep roots in Thibodaux are seen through his dedication to serving the area.

Victoria Ordoyne Thomas is a native of Thibodaux and third generation funeral director. A high school graduate of Vandebilt Catholic in Houma, Victoria continued her studies at American Academy McAllister Institute earning her degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Services. While there she received the George “Buddy” Wolfe award for Proficiency in Clinical Embalming. 

Victoria is married to Douglas Thomas, a native of Houma and together they have two children, Annabelle Catherine and Hunter Lee Theodore "Teddy" Thomas.

Victoria is a member of the Thibodaux Service League. She hosts an annual holiday gift drive in support of Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans in honor of her daughter who is a Leukemia Survivor. She is an active parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church where she assists and volunteers for their annual Saint Joseph's Italian Altar. She is a past team captain for the Thibodaux Relay for Life Event and their Power in Purple Committee. She is also an Alumnus of Phi Mu Fraternity, Kappa Eta Chapter at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux and a member of the Phi Mu Bayou-Thibodaux Alumni Chapter. In 2018, Victoria was nominated by Phi Mu to be honored at The Women's Business Alliance's "Women, Wine and Fashion Event" as a local female business owner and community supporter. 

Victoria is honored to serve her community both in the funeral business and philanthropically with the compassion and respect she has learned from both her father and grandfather.
