Obituary for Wayne Joseph LaFleur
Wayne Joseph LaFleur, 59, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 3:40 PM. Born March 10,1962, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home and will continue on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 8:00 AM until service time at Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM at the church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kim Prosperie LaFleur; sons, Brandon LaFleur (Amber), Ryan LaFleur (Jacey), Connor LaFleur; grandchildren, Brantley Michael LaFleur; siblings, Tilman “T.J.” LaFleur Jr., Janet Comeaux and Geraldine “Geri” A. Busey; father in law, Dr. Michael Prosperie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tilman LaFleur, Sr. and Estellina Crochet LaFleur; brothers, Donald J. “Bozo” LaFleur, Jeffrey P. LaFleur; mother in law, Susan Prosperie.
He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, especially mud riding and going to the camp. He was always the life of the party, kind and generous to all he met and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Thibodaux Regional Health Systems, as well as all the thoughtful prayers from friends and family.
