Obituary for Warren Bernard Shaw
Warren Bernard Shaw, 98, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 12:55 am. Born August 6, 1923, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Ordoyne Funeral Home and will continue on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Christ the Redeemer from 8:30 until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am at the church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Philip Shaw (Rosalie), Warren “Dickie” Shaw (Dale),Danny Shaw (Claire), Thomas “Tommy” Shaw, Myrna Presley; grandchildren, Leslie Bourg, Scott Shaw, Kim Stevens, Jerome Shaw, Kyle Shaw, Erin Shaw, Renee Bivins, Jesse Shaw, Benjamin Shaw, Dustin Presley, Jeremy Shaw, Jacob Shaw, little Tom Dardar; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Guillot Shaw; parents, Robert Anthony Shaw and Louise Bernard Shaw; grandson, Nicholas Shaw; granddaughter in law, Jennifer Shaw; sister, Claudia Shaw Bourgeois.
Warren retired from Thibodaux Boilerworks as a machinist. He was also the oldest living former police officer for the city of Thibodaux.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Catherine’s Hospice.
