Thomas Michael Wilczewski, Sr., 84, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 3:39 AM. Born November 13, 1938 he was a native of Rensselaer, New York and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara A. Wilczewski; son, Thomas Wilczewski, Jr; daughter, Anne Marie Barnhill; grandchildren, Kaleena Wilczewski, Garrick Wilczewski, Preston Barnhill, Cooper Barnhill; siblings, Joseph M. Wilczewski, Jr., Mary Ann Provost; brothers in law, Warren Maston and Robert Maston; close family friends, Vance and Ruby Moreaux, Quinn Moreaux, Brian Moreaux.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Wilczewski and Anne Shelley Wilczewski; daughter, Corrina Marie Wilczewski.
Thomas was a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers and the St. John's Parish Council where he served as secretary, and St. John's Men's Club, also serving as secretary. He served in the United States Army form 1960 until 1963. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and being the yardman at St. John and riding his gravely at St. John Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2085 St. Mary St. Thibodaux, LA 70301.
