Obituary for Shelton Joseph LeBlanc

Shelton "Boo" Joseph LeBlanc, 64, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 1:58 PM. Born August 30, 1956, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Saint Genevieve Catholic Church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by siblings, Rosalie Shaw and husband Phil, Pat Adams, Paulette Fanning; nieces and nephews, Leslie Shaw Bourg, Scott Philip Shaw (Janet), Kim Shaw Stevens, Jerome Shaw (Stephanie), Kyle Shaw (Mandie), Erin Shaw, Renee Bivins (Ralph); numerous great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin A. LeBlanc and Joyce Duet LeBlanc; grandparents, Louis and Marie Duet; uncles, Eddie and Allen Duet; aunts, Vivian Morvant and Lucy Troxler; nephew, Nicholas Shaw.

He was a member of the Woodmen Rangers. He loved spending time at the camp and fishing. He was also a past member of the West Thibodaux Fire Company. He was affectionately known to everyone as "Boo", a name given to him by his Uncle Eddie when he was a boy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chester Boudreaux and his staff for all the care they have provided through the years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses in Shelton's honor.
