Sandra McDonald Cortez, 71, died Friday, May 6, 2022. Born January 1, 1951, she was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA .
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 8:30 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Cortez; son, Ryan Cortez and wife Annette; daughter, Tara Ledet and husband Dale; grandchildren, Alyssa Creed, Demi Ledet, Natalie Ledet, Ashley Savoie, Holly Duet and Bethany Falgout; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine McDonald; brothers, Mark McDonald and Roy P. McDonald, Jr. .
She is preceded in death by her parents. Roy P. McDonald, Sr. and Mary Thibodaux McDonald.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
