Roger Pierre Richard, 76, died Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 5:30 PM. Born April 24, 1946, he was a native of Napoleonville and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 8:30 AM until service time at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Debra Blanchard; brothers, Danny Richard, Anthony "Pookie" Richard, Ted Richard, Tommy Richard, and Rusty Ordoyne; and sister, Delta Grilliot.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Lillian Traigle Richard; sisters, Janet Zeringue, Janice Richard, Rosalie Ordoyne; and brothers, Russell, Ernie and Nevada Richard.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Thibodaux Regional's Critical Care unit for their care.
