Obituary for Rita F. Adams
Rita Frederick Adams, 85, died Thursday, May 19, 2022. Born August 04,1936, she was a native of Schriever and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Melvin Adams, son, Louis Boudreaux, Jr. (Mary “Kitty”); daughters, Kim Blanchard (Nolan, Jr.), Tammy Himel (Victor); grandchildren, Vance Himel, Stacy Guillot, Blake Himel, Kyle Blanchard, Celeste Naquin, Ashley Blanchard; great grandchildren, Laila, Harper, Aubrey, Mila, Finley, Destany, Ethan, Travis, Hailey, Chace, Makayla; brother, Emile "Bae" Frederick, Johnny Frederick.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Joseph Frederick, Sr. and Juliette Jacob Frederick; brothers, Eddie "June" Frederick, Jr., Glen Frederick, Allen "Cou" Frederick.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. She loved life and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
