Obituary for Nolan Patrick Zeringue

Nolan Patrick Zeringue, 80, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 4:57 am. Born December 14, 1941 he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Blanchard Zeringue; sons, Bryan P. Zeringue (Katie), Kraemer, LA, Dwayne G. Zeringue (Melanie), Schriever, LA, Carl E. Zeringue (Dawn), Schriever, LA, Eric J. Zeringue (Rhonda), Schriever, LA; grandchildren, Heather O'Steen (Marcus), Derick Zeringue (Kailey), Ashley Zeringue, Sean Zeringue (Amy), Trent Zeringue (Ashley), Justin Zeringue; great grandchildren, Philip Davis, Kaden Deroche, Liam Zeringue, Tatum Zeringue, Landon Zeringue, Riley Zeringue; brothers, Ralph A. Zeringue and Daniel J. Zeringue

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Eugene Zeringue and Marie "Molly" Roundtree Zeringue; and his furry companion, Cody.

Nolan was a member of numerous clubs and organizations in his community including, Walter Lanier Lodge #307 F&AM, Lafourche Heritage Society, District VII Band Directors Association, West Bank Musician Hall of Fame, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Valley of Baton Rouge, LA. He belonged to the Christ the Redeemer Knight of Columbus Council #08906 as well as the E.D. White Assembly #316 Knights of Columbus as a 4th degree Knight. He was a Honorary member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and served as the past president of the Piano Technicians Guild and Director Emeritus of the Piano Technicians Guild Foundation. He also served as the Past President of IAPBT and was a charter member of NAPBIRT. Nolan was also a life member a Louisiana Steam Train Association.
