Obituary for Nancy Gros Thibodaux
Nancy Gros Thibodaux, 78, passed away Monday, June 22nd, 2020 at 10:05 PM. Born, April 6th,1942 she was a native of Labadieville and resident of Schriever until moving in with her daughter in Chackbay.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 9:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Duet (Paul); sons, Daryl Thibodaux, Dale Thibodaux (Donna); grandchildren, Christopher Thibodaux, Kendall Thibodaux, Cody Thibodaux, Erica Duet, Kassie D. Granier, Kerry Thibodaux, Katie Duet; great grandchildren, Karson, Lola, Aubree, Kynlee, Tab, David, Wes and Camille; sisters, Guernel Perez and Jane Verdin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Lola Templet Gros; brother, Bryan Gros.
Everyone knew her love for Elvis, music and taking special care of her plants. She spent hours a day doing regular and word search puzzles.
During her short stay at Audubon Heath and Rehab for therapy she was blessed with two wonderful roommates, Ms. Elaine and Ms. Carolyn who the family would like to thank. They took extra special care of her knowing the family could not visit her inside due to the current circumstances.
