Obituary for Michael "Mike" Richard
Michael "Mike" Anthony Richard, 55, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 3:39 PM. Born February 13, 1967 he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
He is survived by his children, Hailey Richard (Cameron Credeur) and Austin Richard; mother, Rose Blanchard Richard; siblings, Keith Richard, Mardel Davis, Denise Calcote (Wade); godchildren, Trey Durocher, Kye Davis Chiasson and Ta'Laysia Floyd.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gabriel "Gabe" A. Richard; grandparents, Emile and Marie Hebert Blanchard and Theodule and Esme Aysenne Richard.
He was a police officer for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Thibodaux City Police and Nicholls State University. He enjoyed building RC Model Airplanes. He adored and loved his two children with all his heart.
