Mary Gayle Roundtree Rogers, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 6:13 AM. Born on February 12, 1942, she was a native and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home and will continue on Friday, June 4 from 8:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Michele Bower (Robert), Monique Wood (Andy); grandchildren, Caroline Mary Bower, Camille Michele Bower, Thomas Rogers Bower, II, Naomi Elizabeth Wood, Levi Henry Wood.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Patrick Rogers, Sr.; son, Dale Patrick Rogers, Jr.; parents, Noble and Mary Rodrigue Roundtree.
Mary was a 3rd grade teacher at Thibodaux Elementary for 32 years, she also served as a supervising teacher in the education department at Nichols State University.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
