Mary Trahan Bolotte, 81, died Tuesday, January 01, 2019 at 2:29 PM. Born October 15, 1937, she was a native of Church Point and resident of Labadieville.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00 AM until service time at Saint Philomena Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following at the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Bolotte, Nathan Bolotte and wife Tracy; daughter, Janice Ohmer and husband Billy; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Joseph Bolotte; daughter, Cheryl Bolotte Richard; parents, Adonis and Elmire Duplechain Trahan; siblings, Loretta, Joe, Milton, Linus, Shorty and Sam.
She enjoyed playing Pokeno and Bingo and loved meeting and visiting the other residents of Assumption Healthcare. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Assumption Healthcare.
