Obituary for Marlene Samanie Gaudet
Marlene Samanie Gaudet, 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Born November 16, 1962 she was a native and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 8:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Carron "Paul" Gaudet and sister, Charlene Chauvin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved their "Nanny Mean."
She is preceded in death by her parents, Enest "Fatso" Samanie, Sr. and Aline Lirette Samanie; siblings, Enest "E.J." Samanie, Jr., Judy Guillot, Jane Tabor, Joan Fischer; nephew, Raymond Tabor.
She was a wonderful caretaker who cared for all on and off the job. She loved being with her family and friends and loved riding in Mardi Gras.
