Obituary for Margaret M. Faucheux
Margaret M. Faucheux, "Aunt Git", 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2021 surrounded by her family and caregivers. Margaret was a life long resident of Thibodaux, LA and an active member of the Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her siblings, Leona Lajaunie, Margie Dupre, Gerdie Babin, Vivian Guidry, Gladys Dusenbery and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Vivian Faucheux; siblings, Lillian Boudreaux and Helen Berger.
She was a graduate and employee of Nicholls State University.
The family wishes to express thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, St. Joseph Manor and her many caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral for masses to be said in Margaret's memory.
As per state and local guidelines, the use of face masks and proper social distancing while attending funeral services are required.
