Lois Ann Simon Chenier, 77, gained her wings on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 12:45 PM. Born April 03, 1941 she was a native and resident of Vacherie, LA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 8:00 AM until service time at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert "Bobby" Chenier, Sr., children, Lisa (Edward) Aucoin, Jonnie (Courtney Laiche) Chenier, June (Jeff) LeBlanc, Robert (Betsy) Chenier, Jr., Allen (Robin) Chenier, Ruffin (Stephanie) Chenier, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Herminie S. Brack, Maude Simon and Alice S. Falgoust.
She is preceded in death by one great grandson, Deven Blake; parents, Hermenegilde Simon and Georgine Amedee Simon; brother, Albert Simon; sister, Claire S. Rodrigue.
The family would like to thank The Cancer Center, Thibodaux Regional Medical Ceneter, Haydel Memorial Hospice and their staff for her care.
