Linda Ann Adams, 72, died Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born June 6, 1949, she was a native of Vacherie, and a resident of Kraemer.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Rene Ordoyne (Nicole), Jason Ordoyne (Lacie), Helen Marse (Benjy), James Adams (Jessica); grandchildren, Bailey Ordoyne, Landon Ordoyne, Carter Thibodaux, Jessa Adams, Asher Ordoyne, and Brandon Passig; siblings, Patsy Wright, Maurice Zeringue, Jr., Tina Oberle, Christopher Zeringue, Paul Zeringue, and Jane Schexnayder; half sister, Laura Rodrigue; step sisters, Penny Clement and Dionysia Guidry; step mother, Lorina Daigle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Zeringue, Sr. and Marie Ann Stein Zeringue.

She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going to the Casino and shopping. She was an avid Saints fan and a very devoted mom and loving grandmother. Linda had a love for cooking, she was especially famous for her shrimp and corn soup. In her very quiet way Linda emulated the pure love of Christ. She never had harsh words for anyone. She loved God, and believed that Jesus Christ was her Savior. Her greatest wish was to be able to do more than she did, with and for her family. Though she was quite shy, she loved people. I don't know anyone in her circle of friends who did not feel her love.

Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
