Levery Jean Fonseca, I, 87, died, Saturday, December 08, 2018. Born March 18, 1931, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux.

He is survived by his son, Levery Fonseca, II; daughters, Tina Fonseca and Carla (Paul) Landry; grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Bambi, Crystal, Tia and Amanda; 13 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, Jean Paul Fonseca, Sr. and Victoria Knobloch Fonseca; one grandchild; siblings, Cyrus, Douglas, Ernest, Mary, J.P., Berwick, Kermit.
He served in the United States Army and Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a Golden Glove Boxer while in the Marine Corps.
