Joyce Percle Waguespack, 94, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 8:15 pm. Born January 15, 1927, she was a native of Plaquemine and resident of Napoleonville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Saint Philomena Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her six daughters, Kathy Blanchard and husband Wayne, Celeste Cancienne and husband Tommy, Rachel Landry and husband Mark, Anne Toloudis and husband Scott, Mary Beth Guidry and husband David, and Sandy Waguespack; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a special niece Connie Richard.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, A. Ray Waguespack; parents, Fred and Aline Barbier Percle; brother, Sterling Percle and wife Ivy Mae Percle; godchild, Johnny Percle.

She was a member of the Saint Philomena Ladies Altar Society and a devoted member of the Adoration Chapel, the Bereavement Committee and the Thrift Store.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Audubon Health and Rehab, St. Catherine's Hospice and Dr. Greg Chaisson for their care.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Philomena Church.
