Joseph John Bourgeois, Jr., 77, died Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at 12:49 AM. Born May 29, 1945 he was a native of Vacherie, Louisiana and resident of Chackbay, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 8:30 AM until service time at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 AM at church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Veronica Landry Bourgeois; son, Corby Bourgeois (Michelle); grandchildren, Austin Bourgeois, Jaden Bourgeois, Kraven Bourgeois, Reanne Bourgeois, Clay Hebert, Austin Cortez, Logan Guillot, Travis Guillot, Madison Guillot; brothers, Errol Bourgeois, Manuel Bourgeois; sister, Maryann Richardson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bourgeois, Sr. and Loretta Borne Bourgeois.
He enjoyed going to the camp, fishing and crabbing.
