Obituary for Jamie Charles Morvant
Jamie Charles “Pluck” Morvant, 48, died Monday, September 20, 2021. Born July 13, 1973 he was a native and resident of Chackbay, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his daughters, Haley Renee Harris Morvant, Lexie Janee Morvant; son, Jordan Charles Morvant; grandson, Preston Charles Morvant; mother, Natalie Trosclair Morvant; siblings, Juanita Roussel (Brian), Christine Cortez (Shane), Kim Percle (Troy).
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Morvant; grandparents, Clarence Morvant, Sr. And Modeste Morvant, Wilver Trosclair and Ester Trosclair.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, spending time with his children and grandson and taking care of his mother.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the family.
