Obituary for James Anthony Fields
James Anthony Fields, 74, died Friday, June 11, 2021 at 7:10 PM. Born May 25, 1947 he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM until service time at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will begin at 1:00 PM at the church.
He is survived by his wife for 50 years, Sandra LeBouef Fields; sons, Scott James Fields (Lacie), Kyle Anthony Fields (Meredith); grandchildren, Caroline Emily Fields, Alyssa Lauren Fields, Kaylie Celeste Fields, Kade Anthony Fields; siblings, Daisy F. Pope, Angelle F. LeBeouf, Clarence Fields, Albert Fields, Jr., Allen Fields and Robert Fields.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Fields, Sr. and Aline Hebert Fields; brother, Richard Fields.
He was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 37 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Terrebonne High Athletic Booster Club. He loved fishing, cooking, sports and spending time with his family.
