Obituary for Herbert Jean Landry, Sr.
Herbert Landry Sr, 88 went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Born October 14, 1933 he was a native of Bayou Pigeon and resident of Pierre Part, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at New Covenant Community Church in Pierre Part. A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with Fellowship immediately following his services at the Belle River Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Herbert Landry, Jr., Gary Landry (Wendy); daughters, Verna Gregory (James), Janine Thibodaux; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Buckley (Aaron), Ethan Thibodaux (Katelynn), Dylan Landry, Hannah Thibodaux, Matthew Landry; great grandchildren, Kylei and Kynlei Buckley; siblings, Selma Landry, Grace Carlos, Shirley Berthelot, Audrey "Ann" Landry, Frances Landry Burns.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Hebert Landry; parents, Valiere and Irma Aucoin Landry; siblings, Hubert Landry, Wilma Picou, Velma Miller, Curtis Landry, Betty Landry.
He was an extremely Godly man. He was a devoted and beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, a faithful Christian who loved the LORD and was respected and loved by his community.
