Gwendolyn "Gwen" Toups Curole, 60, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:48 PM. Born July 16, 1960, she was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 8:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her companion of 17 years, Ricky "Noon" Tabor; son, Nicholas Alphonse Toups (Jenny); daughters, Nicole Marie Guidry and Natalie Toups (Brandon Tabor); mother, Marlene Martin Toups (Gary Thibodeaux); grandchildren, Johnathan Alphonse Toups, Dillon Alleman, Ava Lynn Adams; sister, Michelle Bates (Elton) and brother, Byron Toups, three nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Nitro.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alphonse "A.J." Toups, Jr.; grandparents, Alphonse and Marie Ethel Benoit Toups and Foret and Agnes Louque Martin.

She was a parishioner and CCD teacher at Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, watching football and was a longtime fan of car racing and wrestling.
