Obituary for Geraldine "Gerry" Talbot
Geraldine "Gerry" Gros Talbot, 83, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at 2:08 AM. Born February 10, 1938 she was a native of Labadieville and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lloyd Talbot; son, Dale Talbot, daughters, Darlene Knight (Rodney), Denise Lovell (Ben); 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Camille Gros and Justilia Barrios Gros, and her 13 siblings.
She loved to sing in the choir at St. Genevieve. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lafourche Home for the Aged for their exceptional care.
