Elander Hyde Parker, 89, a native of Mathews and resident of Thibodaux, died December 24, 2020. A Private Memorial service will be held on January 9, 2021.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Gwen Bernard of Levittown, PA and Seneca (Anthony) Watson of Thibodaux, LA; sons, Frank (Gwen) Parker, Jr. of Auburn, WA, Carl (Monica) Davis of Atlanta, GA, Alexander (Linda) Davis of LaPlace, LA, Clyde Parker of Thibodaux, LA and Dwight (Beverly) Campbell of Houston, TX; sisters, Shirley Johnson of Thibodaux, LA, and Cleonia Hugher of New York; brothers, Willie Johnson, Jr. of Thibodaux, LA and Ricky (Sandra) Campbell of Thibodaux, LA. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and a number of great and great great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Parker, Sr.; parents, Rev. Dave Hyde and Odeal Shields Johnson; son, Glenn (Tommy) Davis; sisters, Carolyn Verret, Ida Mae Spellman; brother, Theophilus Kelso.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Thibodaux.
