Elaine Bergeron Labat, 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 5:20 pm. Born June 12, 1948 she was a native of Chacahoula, Louisiana and resident of Schriever, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Melissa "Missy" Guidry Attar, Rachel Guidry, Tony "Stump" Guidry (Holly Pellegrin); grandchildren, Lyle Hidalgo (Mandy), Amber Guidry, Brittany Chatman (Barry), Barbara Guidry, Angel Attar, Earl Guidry, Jessie Monreal; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Bergeron Comeaux (Ricky); nieces and nephews, Ryan Comeaux (Julie), Rikki Comeaux, Megan Comeaux and Jaymon Comeaux and her loving dog and best friend, Pogo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Bergeron and Mabel Bourgeois Bergeron; her significant other, Russell Zeringue, Sr.

She was a member of the Krewe of Cleophas for many years. She loved her swamp pop music.
