Edward Joseph Trosclair, Sr., 83, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 9:09 PM. Born November 23, 1935 he was a native of Choupic and resident of the St. Charles Community, LA.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 24, 2018 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheila (Dennis) Kling, Lisa (Brent) Barker; sons, Keith "Moon" (Patricia) Trosclair, Kevin (Jill) Trosclair; grandchildren, Jared Kling, Branden Kling, Adam Trosclair, Kylie Trosclair, Stephen Boudreaux, Jr., Sarah Boudreaux Rhodes, Christian Trosclair, Nicole Trosclair Ledet, Jacob Trosclair; six great grandchildren; siblings, Doris Knight and Lois Walters.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Marie Thibodaux Trosclair; son, Edward "Chinie" Trosclair, Jr; parents, Adam Trosclair and Alfreda Gros Trosclair; siblings, Modest Gros, Flora Gros, Volie Pontiff, Vivian LeRay, Allan Trosclair, Mary Landry, Theresa “Bessie” Voiron.
He served in the United States Air Force.
