Obituary for Edward Edgar Tabor
Edward "Sweet" Edgar Tabor, 99, died on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Born April 15, 1923, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Marie Guillot Tabor; children, Mary Ann Tabor, Thomas E. Tabor (Patsy), Larry Tabor (Mary), Anna Lee Boudreaux (Tommy), Anna Mae Domangue, Ricky Tabor; numerous grandchildren; great grand children and great great grandchildren; goddaughter and caregiver, Linda Ponvelle and caregiver, Wanda Triggs Henderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Edward Tabor and Eva Marie Morvant Tabor; brothers, August, Andrew, Gustave, Joseph Tabor; and sisters, Linda Ordoyne, Lydia Guillot, Annette Hebert and infant sister, Marie Tabor.
Edward was an honorary Thibodaux Police Officer.
