Obituary for Diane Bonvillain Peltier
Diane Bonvillain Peltier, 77, died Thursday, June 11th, 2020. Born October 3, 1942, she was a native of Thibodaux and resident of Chackbay.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 8:30 AM until 10:15 AM at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney "Nay Nay" T. Peltier; children, Darrel J. Peltier, Sr. (Joan), Shelly P. Delatte (Mark), Jason T. Peltier (Roseanne), Anissa P. Jolly (Anthony); grandchildren, Crissy, Darrel, Jr., Dawn, Whitney, Solange, Katie, Amelia, Ciara, Heather, Shane, Angelle and Katelyn; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Bonvillain (Mary), Leroy Bonvillain (Sandra), Emile Bonvillain; sisters, Augustine B. Sanchez, Theresa B. Champagne, Phyllis B. Bourgeois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonce Bonvillain and Beatrice Bonvillain Poole; sisters, Noelie B. Guillot, Nancy B. Boudreaux; brother, Elvin Bonvillain, Sr. and seven infant siblings.
She had an immense love for her family; her husband, children and her grandchildren whom she affectionately referred to as "her little babies" were her greatest joy and blessing.
