Obituary for Deanne Vice Lampton
Deanne Vice Lampton, 82, earned her heavenly wings on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 4:25 PM, surrounded by her children.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at The Cathedral of Saint Francis de Sales. Burial will follow at Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
Deanne is survived by her son, Barry Benoit and wife Vickie, grandsons Dylan & Blake Benoit; son, Dr. G. Maurice “Reese” Benoit and wife Denise, granddaughter Hannah Benoit Belles; and daughter, Deanne “Pie” Benoit Webb, grandsons, Christopher and Matthew Webb; great grandchildren, Ella & Vance Benoit and Maisie Webb; sister, Suzanne Lichtenhan; brother, Steven Vice.
Deanne is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lampton; parents, Hayes J. and Edith M. Vice; brother Hayes J Vice, Jr.
Deanne lived a life many dream of, traveling around the world most of her adult life as the owner of Ambassador Travel. She enjoyed her work in later years as a medical transcriptionist for Occupational Medical Services in Houma. She treasured her family most of all though and was so loved by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Homestead Assisted Living facility, BJ and her staff for their care and kindness as well as Haydel Hospice and Patty Voss.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Francis de Sales Catholic School in Deanne's name.
