DJ loved everyone and everyone loved him back. His heart was bigger than the moon and his love was deeper than any ocean. DJ was an angel on earth. He loved his mom and dad and everyone of his family, especially his sister and best friend, Desire. She was his legs and whatever DJ wanted to play with, Desire would bring those toys to DJ’s recliner so they could play together. He loved to play basketball, football and baseball. He enjoyed fishing though he never had the chance to catch one. He loved the beach, hanging on the side of the swimming pool, and the park. He loved his doctors and nurses.

The family would like to thank Vicky, Emma, and Ms. Darlene, and all the nurses along the way who helped care for DJ. He loved ‘Mr. David’and was always worried about him. DJ said, “I can’t wait to get my Trach out so Mr. David can bring me on his boat.” DJ was deeply loved by his Mawmaw Cindy, and they had a very special bond.
