He served in the United States Army infantry during the Korean War at the age of 19. He was discharged as Sergeant 1st Class. He was proud to serve his country but spoke very little of his experiences.

He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching football but baseball was his ultimate sport. His favorite team was always the St. Louis Cardinals.

Daniel was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He was a member of First Assembly of God church for over 60 years. His wife was the love of his life for over 60 years. He loved his children dearly and was very proud of each of them. He often spoke of his childhood, brothers and sisters, his daily chores, and very highly of his parents.

Daniel was a meek man. A gentlemen to all. He had a servant’s heart and followed Jesus and loved to pray and study his Bible. He was a very slow moving man, patient, displayed integrity, not selfish, and used his words wisely. He loved people and loved to witness to them about Jesus.

Daniel was a very hard worker. He drove eighteen wheeler trucks cross- country for over 59 years. He traveled over five million miles with a spotless driving record. He met many different kinds of people in his journey and always had a good story to tell us.

He leaves behind a beautiful legacy for his family to treasure. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He is now reunited with his wife, whom he missed dearly since her passing a mere 2 months ago.

His end here on earth - is the beginning of an eternity in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ ….
