Obituary for Cherie Pierce Raidl
Cherie Pierce Raidl, 51, died on September 1, 2021. Born May 16, 1970 she was a native and resident of the St. Charles Community.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Cherie is survived by her beloved husband, Chris Raidl; daughters, Berlin Grace Raidl and Darien Boudreaux Trosclair; mother and step father, Debbie Allen and Richard Allen; sister, Jennifer Pierce; grandsons, Greyson and Decker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clay Ellis Pierce, D.V.M.; paternal grandparents, Royce Pierce, Sr. and Annabelle Plaisance Pierce; maternal grandfather, Charles Shoemaker.
Cherie was a graduate of Thibodaux High School. She later became a nurse and then a dialysis nurse.
The family appreciates the outpouring expression of prayers, love, and thoughtfulness shown during this difficult period and sincerely thank the staffs at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. A special thanks to Dr. Chester a Boudreaux and his staff at RIMA.
