Charles Philippe Dansereau, 84, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 6:56 AM. Born October 19, 1938, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Charisse Clark(Julian), Chelle’ Sonnier(Robert), Carla Talbot; grandchildren, Samuel Clark, Sophia Clark, Sydney Stover(Hunter), Hannah Sonnier, Reilly Talbot, Ross Talbot, Jerimiah, Koe’hen, Gunner, and Matthew; sibling, Cecile France.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Henry Dansereau and Jessie Daigle Dansereau; daughter, Candice Dansereau.

Charles “Bubbie” Dansereau was a practicing pharmacist for over 45 years and was co-owner of the D & M Drug Stores, with locations in Chackbay, Labadieville, and Thibodaux. He was a graduate of Thibodaux College in 1956 and Northeast La. Pharmacy school in 1963. He served as President of the Louisiana State Pharmacy association at one time.

He loved to spend time with friends and his greatest love was the outdoors. He went fishing on the lakes in south Louisiana whenever possible and always enjoyed all the recreation activities that Grand Isle has to offer.
