Arles Jackson Doss, Jr., 77, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:41 PM. Born February 22, 1943 he was a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM.
He is survived by wife of 59 years, Sandra Shows Doss; daughters, Cynthia "Cissy" Doss Campo (Joe), Kristi Leigh Doss; sons, Arles Jackson Doss, III (Tina Wiley Doss), Kevin Wayne Doss (Susan A. Doss); grandchildren, Jennifer Britton (Rob), Kaylin Doss Boudreaux, Kailee Doss, Stephanie Martin (Cody), Lauren Martin (Billy), Krista Doss; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Gary O. Doss.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arles Doss, Sr. and Madge Welch Doss; and his grandparents, MaMa and PaPa Doss.
He was an electrician and also taught the Hunters Education Program in Terrebonne Parish for over 20 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid hunter and a lifetime member of the Wildlife Turkey Federation.
