Albert Charles Gerstle, Jr., 77, died peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 7:24 PM. Born February 4, 1944, he was a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, long time resident of Lafayette and recent resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Alan Kelby Gerstle and wife Cindy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Gerstle, Sr. and Beth Glaser; former wife, Deanna Chachere.
He was a proud U.S. Veteran and served in the Army.
